the Merrie Monarch Hula Festival. This video is filled with
award winning performances of the beautiful hula, extravagant
costumes and floral wear, and wonderful Hawaiian music performed
by various groups. Highlights of Hawaii's most prestigious hula
competition held to honor King David Kalakaua, the "Merrie
Monarch". Includes 'auana (modern) and kahiko (ancient)
